Sturridge committed to Liverpool
It has been recently reported that Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge wants a move away from Anfield. The striker has been plagued with injuries recently and has struggled to hit top gear this season.
However, the striker has recently dismissed any such rumors, which also suggested that one of the reasons he did not want to play was because of certain religious beliefs.
The striker has admitted that the time he had to endure during his injury was difficult but he now looks forward towards his future with the club.
The England International has dismissed any thoughts of him leaving the club stating that his family is happy here at Liverpool and added that it is a disgrace to say that a player does not want to play football.
The Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed his delight to have a fit Sturridge, a leisure which the former Borussia Dortmund manager rarely enjoyed. He stated that he is happy that the former Chelsea striker wants to play for the club and is delighted with the forward's commitment.
