It seems Eden Hazard is very keen to be a part of the Chelsea team under incoming manager Antonio Conte.

Eden Hazard has told Antonio Conte that he wants to stay at Chelsea next season.
Hazard has been light years away from his best this season. The PFA player of the year last season has considerably underperformed this season having played a pivotal part in the Blues title winning campaign last season.

Hazard was injured for major part of the season but has not been able to play at his best even when fit. However, the Belgian International has shown interest in staying at his current club, where he still has four years left on his contract. The Belgian understands that he has failed to perform this season and wants to make things right next season.

Earlier in the season, it was reported that the Belgian was not happy with life at London and wants to move out of the club. PSG and Real Madrid were the two European giants very much interested in signing the former Lille play maker.

It was also reported that Chelsea were keen to off load their star midfielder, albeit for a mammoth transfer fee. However, Hazard seems very keen to be a part of Conte's new looking Chelsea side and is excited about the same.

Chelsea midfield Eden Hazard has been eyed by many European Giants for a potential move in the summer. The Belgian has been a shadow of himself this season, but that didn't stop the likes of PSG and Real Madrid to show interest in him.

Real Madrid will attempt to finally sign Eden Hazard by offering one of their own big players as part of the deal.
Last month, before Chelsea met PSG in the first leg, Hazard made a bold comment about the French Giants that angered a lot of Chelsea fans. He said that it would be hard to say no to a club like PSG. Ever since his bad run of form, he's been tipped to move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, and according to reports from The Sun, Real Madrid have offered Chelsea a lucrative offer.

The report said that Real Madrid are looking to offer James Rodriguez to Chelsea in order to entice Hazard to the Santiago Bernabeu. Much like the Belgian, James himself has struggled for form scoring 5 goals in 18 appearances for Madrid and he has even been booed by Real Madrid supporters for his lacklustre performances this season. In 2014, before he chose to join the Galacticos, Chelsea had shown interest in him.

Also, Zidane has claimed before that he is a huge fan of Hazard and would love to see the Belgian at the Bernabeu. He said that after Ronaldo and Messi, Hazard is his third favourite player and has the potential to reach their heights. Hazard himself idolises the French maestro. He said he would love to work under Zidane, but claims he's happy at Chelsea for now.

"I always liked Zidane. Now I know the player by heart but don't know the coach at all, even if he's started very well at the Bernabeu. I'm also still under contract at Chelsea and I feel very good there." When asked if he would want to work with him at Madrid, he added: "Yes of course. When I was little, I watched him on television and the internet for hours. I talked Zidane and I ate Zidane. But, and I repeat it, I feel very good at Chelsea so it's not news."

Will Chelsea take this deal to regain their dominance? Or will they keep hold of their star man?

Chelsea's Belgian playmaker Eden Hazard had stated on the eve of the Champions league game against PSG that it would be difficult to refuse a move to the French champions if they come calling.

Eden Hazard wants to stay at Chelsea but I do not, says Guus Hiddink
In reaction to Hazard's statement, former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane told that if he was a teammate of the Belgian, he would be kicking him up and down the training pitch. However, Chelsea Interim manager Guus Hiddink believes otherwise.

The Dutchman did not respond to the statement by Roy Keane but felt that the Belgian International is very keen to stay at Stamford Bridge. However, Hiddink stated that he felt Hazard, who was very instrumental in the Premier league title win of Chelsea last season, would certainly need to improve on his form this season.

Hazard has been a shadow of himself in this campaign with injuries certainly not helping the cause of the play maker.

Apart from PSG, Hazard was also linked with Real Madrid earlier in the campaign but Hiddink believes Hazard, who has a contract till 2020, will stay at Chelsea after having admitted to have certain small conversations with the Belgian.

The Dutch man would certainly hope that Hazard, who has been showing some signs of revival off late, would be able to get back to his best as soon as possible.

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard has been rumored to leave the club next season with the Belgian being far from his best this season for the Blues.

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard says a move to PSG would be 'difficult to turn down.'
Rumors are that the star midfielder is not happy with life at Stamford Bridge and may look for a move abroad. Hazard has been in and out of the team under Hiddink but has shows signs of revival in recent games. However, it was widely reported that he prefers a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid with their manager Zidane a big admirer of the Belgian.

However, it seems, Hazard may find it difficult to even turn down French champions PSG. The star midfielder has been linked with the French giants earlier this season and before the Champions league match on Tuesday between Chelsea and PSG, Hazard stated that it would be difficult to say no to a club which has the capacity to win the Champions league.

He also did not confirm that he would stay at the club next season fueling rumors that he may well leave the club. He added that on the basis of the contract, he would be at the club next season even if the current season has been disappointing.

However, there is always an element of uncertainty in football and the Belgian did not deny the fact that he may leave the Blues at the end of the season.

Last season's Premier player of the year Eden Hazard has been a shadow of himself in this campaign. The Belgian has certainly not been able to hit his strides this season and his performances have been really poor as compared to last season.

Real Madrid are keen to sign Chelsea winger Eden Hazard before Euro 2016 begins in the summer.
His recent struggles with his form have been reported as a lack of effort from the former Lille midfielder. The sacking of former Blues manager Mourinho was very much attributed to the lacklustre performances of Hazard, a fact that even the Belgian has accepted earlier this month.

The star Chelsea midfielder has been linked with Real Madrid for most of the campaign with Real Madrid manager Zidane showing interest in Hazard. Earlier this season, reports intensified even more when Hazard reciprocated his admiration for the legendary French midfielder.

However, it seems that if Hazard is not able to make his desired move to Madrid, he may prefer staying at Chelsea. This is because, apart from Madrid, even PSG are very much interested in the Belgian ace. However, Hazard is not too keen for a move to the French champions and may prefer staying at Stamford Bridge.

If Chelsea do agree to sell Hazard, it seems that they would be asking for an enormous transfer free. The asking price is reported to be in the range of £80 million in spite of the Belgian's dire performances this season.

Here are 10 stats from this week's UCL games:

*Eden Hazard missed a chance to open the scoring from the spot for Chelsea against Maccabi Tel Aviv. This made him only the fourth player to have missed three or more penalties in the Champions league since 2006/07. The other three players to have done so are Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

Lionel Messi
*After appearing for Barcelona against Roma, Lionel Messi became the youngest player in UCL history to have played in 100 games.

*Despite losing against Dinamo Zagreb, Arsenal have won 76 times in the Champions league -  the most by a team that has not won the competition.

*Dinamo Zagreb's win was also their first win in the competition since September 1999.

*Since his debut in 2004, only Xavi (24)  and Cristiano Ronaldo (23) have registered more assists than Cesc Fabregas (22).

*Roma's defence was excellent against Barcelona. This game was the one in which Barcelona had least shots on target (3) this season.

*Diego Costa scored his first Champions League goal for Chelsea. It was his first goal in the competition since last scoring for Atletico Madrid against Chelsea.

*Theo Walcott became the sixth Arsenal player to have scored 10 or more goals for the club.

*Arsenal's defence was shaky today and this game meant that the Gunners have just kept one clean sheet in their last 11 Champions league away group games.

*Messi's stats in the UCL after his 100 games - 77 goals, 22 assists , 4 trophy wins.

Chelsea top the current Premier League table and in the last three occasions they have topped the league they have managed to win the title. Could Jose wrap yet another trophy in a year the Blues have looked the best. Despite away blues they look set to claim the trophy thanks to the brilliance of their two Spanish acquisitions- Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas. Champions Manchester City failed to capitalize on a slip up at St Marys as they blew a two goal lead at the hands of resurgent Burnley. Burnley find themselves in the drop zone alongside Crystal Palace and Leicester City. The battle for fourth has intensified as there are six teams battling it out in the form of Manchester United, Arsenal, Southampton, West Ham, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. Realistically Manchester United who have spent over £150 million are expected to seal their spot easily, including their less than congested schedule what can derail their hunt? With one spot up for grabs, Arsenal will look to take their customary place on the table. The Gunners ended the Christmas period alongside Stoke with an impressive two wins. A feat no other side managed and a sign Arsene's men are finding their stride with seven wins in nine.

Football however does not have everything set in stone as Southampton have proved this season with an impressive showing, having lost several stars in Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Dejan Lovren and Callum Chambers. They have remained in a strong position, despite a five game blip the Saints are above a Liverpool side that was very active in the transfer window and lost just one player, a quality player that is. This highlights the contrast in the two clubs, Saints bought well and their signings kicked on from the start. Brendan Rodger has had a mixed response as his players haven't all adapted as the Reds ended the year on the rise with a 4-1 thrashing of Swansea. West Ham, Spurs have also impressed and will light up the second half of the season. What a fight we have from the championship, European spots to the relegation arenas.

Players that stood out:

Cesc Fabregas has amassed 13 assists this season, created 61 chances and made 1563 passes. He is the top assist machine in the whole of Europe and One of the best signings, if not the best in the season.

Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic have managed 59 shots and 119 crosses respectively as they continue to engineer Southampton's European quest.

QPR's Robert Green has been massive for the club as they look to secure a Premier League spot for next season. With such an impressive home record the England stopper has played his part as he made a season high 69 saves. The English goalkeeper has also conceded the most goals (31).

The Argentine has been prolific. A man on a mission as Sergio Aguero has scored 14 goals in

Eden Hazard has attempted 151 dribbles and then managed to execute 89. The Belgian highlights his dancing feet and abilities for the Champions in waiting.

Tuesday saw some exciting clashes, shocks, routine wins and quality goals from Germany to England to Morocco. Let us take look at the most impressive stalwarts of the day as the level of quality was too high. Chelsea saw an opponent sent off for a second time this week as Derby's defender Buxton walked. Buxton, on for the suspended.

Formation: 3-4-3

Roman Bürki

Rarely do you get the losing side feature a player in the impressive performance XI but the shot stopper was sublime. If he was having a bad day or the post was not willing to interfere it would have been far worse. Roman made a record 13 saves in the Bundesliga clash and despite losing produced a commendable display.

Filipe Luis

The former Atletico man was lively. Sound in defense and a thorn moving forward for the Derby defense. His sublime left-footed free kick gave the visitors a second goal, which put them in the driving seat.

Juan Bernat

It was a quality display from the defender, who could have claimed a hat trick. Quiet in defense as there was no threat, but on attack Juan could have played as a forward and impressed. Striking the post a couple of times, including the piece of skill to take a long ball, and then deliver a strike which went in through a Thomas Muller header off the post.

Sergio Ramos

He was having a quiet game until it escalated. The Spaniard opened the scoring for Real madrid at the Club world Cup, conceded a penalty and managed to get a booking. Has now scored in every competition he has been involved in.

Eden Hazard

No one can stop the Belgian as he continues to evolve. Scoring the crucial first goal and providing Derby with problems all evening. Derby players ended up double, and at times triple marking him to stop his threat.

Cesc Fabregas

Back from suspension and took over from where he left off as the Chelsea maestro managed yet another assist to take his tally to 15. Creative genius!

Xabi Alonso

Despite the injury the class was evident in the hour he played. Remember how Chelsea got rid of Frank Lampard? Well Madrid could be wondering how much better they would be if they kept the Spaniard. Pinpoint passes all over the park.

Arjen Robben
Arjen Robben
He is in the form of his life and is mesmerizing defenses. The Dutch master scored his 100th game in Bayern colors in his 184th game. He was the heart and soul of this side as they go twelve points clear for at least a day. Wolfsburg will face Dortmund tomorrow.

Cristiano Ronaldo

No goals from the World's best player but was pivotal in his sides domination as always. The Portuguese star managed two assist that included a quality cross to a certain Mr. Bale. Not as selfish on the pitch is he.

Marc Mcnulty

The Scottish striker managed to score the decisive goal as Sheffield United continued their fine run in the knockout cups. They will be in the semi-finals and this will be a goal Marc won't forget anytime soon.

Pedro Rodriguez

A first half hat trick saw the Spanish international compound further misery on Hues a in the Copa del Rey. It was a much needed confidence boost for the out of favor player.

Coach - Nigel Clough
