It seems that PSG are certainly looking to make a statement of intent to the rest of the footballing world. The French club are on the lookout for a replacement for their departing star Ibrahimovic and it seems that have identified Barcelona superstar Neymar for the same.

PSG are reportedly offering Neymar over £80,000 a day.
PSG are so determined in signing the prolific forward that they are willing to offer a €40 million per year contract to the Brazilian. Neymar has been rumored to be discontent with the tax issues that have been impacting the Barcelona forward's career in Spain. Earlier in the season, his dad also stated that Neymar would be leaving Spain in order to get some respite from these issues that are bothering him.

It seems PSG are looking to take advantage of the situation and are willing to pay big bucks for the same. The Barcelona forward is currently on a €11 million per year contract at the club and the club is willing to offer the former Santos star a hike of €5 million in order to persuade the Brazilian to stay.

However, if PSG go ahead with this offer, it is a possibility that the Brazilian may be tempted to join the French club. PSG are looking to cement their status as a European giant and the signing of Angel Di Maria last season certainly justified their ambition.

If Ibrahimovic does leave, they are very much interested in replacing their Swedish superstar with another big name player in Neymar.

It is not a huge surprise when one of the best players in the planet wants to play for arguably the best manager in the world. Hence, the fact that Neymar wants to play for Pep Guardiola is not much of a surprise.

Neymar expresses his desire to work with Pep Guardiola one day
It is a pity that, although both were heavily involved with the recent successes at Barcelona, they were never worked together, with Neymar joining the club in 2013 and Guardiola departing from Barcelona in 2012.

The Brazilian is often considered as the player to take the baton from the likes of Messi and Ronaldo as the world's best player and his recent statement would certainly spark rumors about his career at Barcelona.

With Guardiola set to take over as the new Manchester City manager, the rumors surrounding Neymar to City is only a matter of time.

There have been reports linking the former Santos star to United earlier in the campaign but with the Barcelona striker interested in playing under Guardiola, it may not be a surprise seeing him move to the Etihad.

Neymar has also been affected with issues initially regarding his move from Brazil to Spain along with the recent tax issues and may look to move abroad. He has stated that he would like to return to Brazil some day and also play in the United States later in his career.

Hence, it would not be a surprise if the young Brazilian sensation would like to ply his trade in the challenging Premier league as well.

The long wait is over; final list of nominees for the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2015 is out. Not surprisingly, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi make it to the top three male selected candidates for this coveted trophy, joining them is Brazilian forward Neymar.

FIFA Ballon d'Or trophy of 2014
Both Messi and Neymar play for Spanish club Barcelona while Ronaldo dons the jersey of Real Madrid.

Carli Lloyd from USA, Aya Miyama from Japan and Célia Å aÅ¡ić from Germany are selected to compete for the women’s award.

Pep Guardiola, manager of FC Bayern Munich, Luis Enrique of FC Barcelona and Jorge Sampaoli of Chilean national team since 2012 are selected as male nominees for the FIFA World Coach of the Year.

Jill Ellis of USA national team, Mark Sampson of English national team and Norio Sasaki of Japanese national team are candidates for the FIFA World Coach of the Year, women’s national team.

Selected nominees were chosen by captains and head coaches of the men’s and women’s national teams from 207 FIFA member associations and media individuals selected by FIFA and French Football Federation.

FIFA Puskás Award is given to the player who scored the best goal of the year. The nominees for this award are Alessandro Florenzi, who scored a screamer from 50 yards for AS Roma against FC Barcelona, Wendell Lira, scoring for Goianesia against Atletico-GO and Lionel Messi, scoring for Barcelona after dribbling past the heart of Athletic Bilbao's defence.

Winners to be announced on 11 January 2016 at FIFA Ballon d’Or 2015 ceremony.

Leo Messi is sure to win this year's Ballon d'Or according to his teammate Neymar.

Lionel Messi and Neymar
Messi inspired Barcelona to a treble winning campaign last season and reached the finals of the Copa America with Argentina in the summer. Messi has already scored 35 goals from 35 games in 2015 and has won the Copa Del Rey, La Liga and Champions league with Barcelona.

Messi is currently out with a lengthy injury but according to Neymar, that is not going to stop the Argentine from winning the coveted trophy once again.

Neymar was speaking to the media after Brazil's 2-1 win over Peru, when he said that this years prize is already decided and that no one other than Messi deserves to win it this time. Neymar also said that he hoped to get into the top three for the first time this year.

Neymar also had a good season and scored in the final of Champions League against Juventus. With Messi currently out injured, Neymar has been the focal point in Barcelona's attack and he has been superb so far, taking responsibility when needed.

Neymar was seventh in last year's Ballon d'Or poll but he has been to the gala once before when he was awarded the Puskas award for the best goal back in 2012 when he was at Santos.

Brazilian striker Neymar accidentally hurt a young boy as he was getting on the team bus.

Neymar
The Barcelona striker kicked a ball into a crowd of fans just before he stepped onto the bus and ended up hitting a small boy with his playful pass.

Well, now this Chilean kid is expected to be over the moon that he got whacked by a football from Neymar!

He was subsequently given an amazing gift. He was brought onto the Brazil bus where Neymar presented him with a signed football.

FC Barcelona won their fifth UCL trophy after defeating Italian giants Juventus 3-1 in the Champions League final in Berlin on Saturday.

Barcelona defeated Juventus to be the European champions for the fifth time
Ivan Rakitic scored the first goal after 4 minutes into the game. Luis Suarez then scored in the 68th and Brazilian Neymar in stoppage time, which sealed a treble for the Catalans who also won La Liga and the Spanish King's Cup.

Both FC Barcelona and Juventus played outstanding attacking football in one of the greatest European finals and Italian giants pushed Barcelona all the way, cancelling out Rakitic's early strike for a while when Alvaro Morata equalized after 55 minutes.

The nail biting final lifted football's spirits following the revelations in the recent FIFA corruption scandal.

The Champions League win also provided Xavi with a successful send-off to his career with the Catalan giants before he joins Qatari club Al Saad.
