Chelsea sign goalkeeper Marco Amelia
Jose Mourinho wanted to sign a goalkeeper since Thibaut Courtois got injured. The Portuguese coach does not want to take any more risks, considering that his team have not started the campaign well.

Chelsea have signed the 2006 FIFA World Cup winner Marco Amelia, who was available as a free agent. The 33 years old last played for Perugia.

Amelia has a huge amount of experience at the top level, playing for clubs such as AC Milan.

Asmir Begovic has been starting in the absence of Courtois. Marco Amelia will now serve as an option for Mourinho in case Begovic is unavailable.
