After being benched for months and almost rumored to leave the club, Kolo Toure has been voted Standard Chartered Player of the Month. Toure worked himself back into the starting eleven in the game against Real Madrid. His performance was admirable, Kolo Toure managed to embarrass even Real Madrid superstar Christiano Ronaldo.

Kolo Touré has been named Liverpool's player of the month for November
In 2013, Kolo Toure, the Ivorian Coast footballer, signed for Liverpool and was handed the number four shirt. Toure signed a two-year contract with the club, and made his debut on August 17th 2013 in a win over Stoke City at Anfield. In the 2013/2014 season Kolo Toure appeared for the club twenty-five times. While he performed well in some matches, he also made some crucial mistakes that affected Liverpool.

On February 2nd, Liverpool faced West Brom that ended in a draw. It was only due to Kolo Toure, who passed the ball directly to Victor Anichebe and allowed him to score the equalizer that Liverpool drew. His next costly mistake was in the match against Fulham, where he scored an own goal. Luckily, however, Liverpool won with a late penalty scored by Steven Gerrard. This season he has not made such mistakes and has impressed Brendan Rodgers and the Liverpool supporters. He’s been off the bench more times this season than last. Its only the beginning for Kolo Toure!
