There were reports stating that Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany would require an additional six weeks before returning back to full fitness.

However, City boss Pellegrini recently mentioned that the Belgian defender would be back within two weeks.
This would certainly be good news for City fans who have seen their team's defence in shambles at times without the presence of their captain. The latest goal in the game against West Ham due to the sloppiness of Otamendi justifies the above point.

Pellegrini would certainly have been happy with the perfect arrival of Aguero back in the squad with the striker having saved City the blushes in the games against Watford and West Ham. City have been terrible on their travels this season and if Pellegrini wants to win the title, he will definitely want to improve their away record.

The City captain has been plagued with injuries this season and it seemed that it would derail the title ambitions of the Manchester side. The Belgian defender is set to miss the important Capital one League semifinal clash against Everton.

However, if Kompany does able to make it back within two weeks, it would delight their under pressure Chilean manager Pellegrini and be a shot in the arm for their quest of the Premier league title.
