Moyes and Pearson being considered for the Aston Villa Job
Aston Villa are certain to be relegated this season. It is difficult to fathom the fact that one of the top clubs in the Premier league not so long ago and one of the seven clubs to participate in every Premier league season is waiting to face the drop to the championship.
However, it seems the management have already made plans for next season by making a shortlist with respect to the manager that they should be signing at the end of the season. According to various reports, there were views taken from former players and legends of the club by Aston Villa chairman Steve Hollis with respect to this decision.
Aston Villa have been in shambles this season and the next manager would have a huge task at hand. The likes of former Manchester United manager David Moyes and former Leicester Manager Nigel Pearson have been considered as front runners for the post.
Moyes was consulted for the Villa job after the sacking of Tim Sherwood but the former Everton manager was not convinced with the structure of the club. However, with the club due to undergo an overhaul pertinent to its structure, it has been reported that Moyes may be interested in taking up such a difficult job.
Apart from Moyes, Nigel Pearson, who has been lauded for his job at Leicester, is also being considered for the job.
