Charlie Austin has vowed to see out his contract and would not look for a new club in the coming winter transfer window. His current QPR contract ends at the end of this season, and with him not signing a renewal, QPR will have to risk losing him as a free agent.

Charlie Austin says he is staying at QPR until the end of the season

Charlie Austin joined QPR in 2013 after an empharic run with Burnley. Since then, the English striker has almost carried QPR single-handedly. Despite his 18 goal haul in the premier league last season, QPR were relegated to Championship football.

But Charlie Austin, who is yet to debut for England, caught attention from big teams and has been in the speculation of transfer rumors. Several Premier League teams are tracking him to help them with their attacking woes and the 26-years-old, with his peak years ahead, will be tempted to join a bigger club. But as for now, he is adamant that his home is QPR.

Austin has scored 8 goals from 14 championship appearances so far this season.

A first half blitz saw Everton grab two well taken goals as Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas scored two quality goals from outside the area. Naismith added a third through a header as the Merseyside ran to a 3-0 lead over relegation threatened QPR. Bobby Zamora pulled one back but it was too late as the Toffees cruised to a win.

Ross Barkley was quality, producing a man of the match display as Everton went above rivals Liverpool on goal difference. The young Englishman was partnering ever improving Muhamed Besic. In the deeper role, Barkley was spraying passes all over as he controlled proceedings. The opposition was poor to say the least as QPR continued their woeful away record. Can they survive based on their home form? It will be difficult for the Londoners and missing their top scorer Charlie Austin who has scored the majority of their goals saw them start the match in a disadvantage. Everton managed to win their second game since their involvement in Europe and have left them in a decent position to fight for the much coveted fourth spot. Consistency will be required as the Merseysiders enter a very important stage. They will have a few months to focus on the FA Cup but more importantly on the Premier League as they look to apart their season again.

QPR are four points above the bottom side Leicester City, winless away and still unsure on how to go about the away games. Harry Redknapp has been dubbed "Houdini", can he avoid the drop? He has managed to keep in touch with the sides above him and will need to add quality in January to bolster an attack over reliant on Austin. The signing of Rio Ferdinand has failed to bolster their defense as they look to find a spark before they find themselves in a difficult situation. A consolation goal from Bobby Zamora allowed them to receive shave one off their poor goal difference. As the games begin to come thick and fast we look at how they cope in the busy period. The season looks tough, long and difficult for the Londoners.
