Iñigo Martínez, the Spanish footballer who plays for Real Sociedad mainly as a central defender, had a lucky escape on Tuesday night after the vehicle ended up crashing into a rock on the side of the road. The 23-years-old player lost control of his car while coming out of a tunnel.

Martínez was reportedly having lunch with his teammates and close friend Illarramendi from Real Madrid before leaving for his home town Ondarroa. The accident took place at 20:30.
