Leicester City and Inter Milan to fight for Eder
Claudio Ranieri has realized the importance of improving his squad ahead of a promising Premier league campaign that they are currently enjoying. It seems that he has recognized the striker department as a key area that requires attention.
There were reports stating that Leicester were interested in signing Remy to provide the necessary boost. However, it seems that Chelsea are not happy with the offer and also need Vardy in a swap deal with City which they are certainly not interested in.
Now, reports have mentioned about the interest of Leicester in Sampdoria striker Eder. However, it seems that they have to face a fight, for the striker, from Inter Milan. According to reports, Inter had offered to sign Eder for around €12 million.
However, Leicester were ready to offer €13 million to Sampdoria for the Italian International and were considered as front runners for his signature.
But now, reports have emerged that Inter has agreed to match the offer given by Leicester and now appear in the driver's seat. It seems Inter are very much keen to land Eder as a strike partner for their start striker Mauro Icardi.
This will certainly be bad news for the Foxes who have struggled to add to their squad in this transfer window.
