Which Team Is The Best in the NBA?
Now that we are nearing the NBA All Star break, we are gaining more clarity as to who the best team in the NBA is. There are two obvious names: the Warriors and the Spurs.
The Golden State Warriors are the best such team, with 46 wins and 4 losses. This is quite remarkable, as they are on pace to break 70 wins, and could tie the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls mark of 72-10.
One issue with the Warriors is that although they are playing very well in the regular season, their fast paced style of play might not translate well in the playoffs.
Though they won it all last year, the Warriors are due to have a serious injury to a key player, and will face a loaded San Antonio Spurs (43-8) team this June.
The Warriors got lucky last summer that they didn't have to face the Spurs. Now that the Spurs have added LeMarcus Aldridge, it will make for a much tougher series.
When NBA pundits ask 'who will win the NBA Finals' this summer, the answer is between the Spurs and the Warriors, both great teams with pretty good odds.
Regardless of what happens this summer, it is safe to say that the Golden State Warriors are the best team in the NBA right now.
