It seems that Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a wanted man in England. Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio has placed the Armenian International as a key priority in the upcoming transfer window.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been outstanding this season and has been tracked by the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool. However, Conte is very much interested in bringing the former Shakhtar midfielder to Chelsea.
The 27 year old was asked by reporters a few days back about the links with respect to Chelsea to which he reportedly gave a wink and replied that he does not know. It seems Mkhitaryan himself would be happy about joining the West London club.
However, the fact that Chelsea would not be involved in Champions League football next season could be a stumbling block to the signing. Mkhitaryan mostly plays in a No. 10 role behind the striker and has been impressive for his German club.
The movement of the Armenian International could certainly be vital for the Blues, who have certainly lacked creativity in the final third this season.
