Former Pakistan bowler Shoaib Akhtar has blasted the Pakistan Cricket team over their performance in the ICC World Cup 2015 so far. He also took this opportunity to criticize the Pakistani captain Misbah-ul-Haq and called him too selfish and a coward. He also made fun of Misbah’s broken English during his post-match interviews.

Shoaib Akhtar during the debate
According to the 'Rawalpindi Express', Misbah has been too selfish and is only concerned about scoring some 60 runs off 90 balls for himself. He also accused Misbah of fooling the public for the last four years.

Akhtar, who is regarded as one of the fastest bowlers in modern cricket, was a part of a debate on a national television channel Geo News. The debate also included former players Mohammad Yousuf and Azhar Mahmood.

Akhtar also made a statement on present coach Waqar Younis asking him to resign after such performances of the team. Akhtar said that Waqar Younis has been the coach three times and he does not understand why, as he has not been able to give results a single time.

The Pakistani pacer also called Misbah-ul-Haq a coward and Younis Khan an imposter.

He also asked everyone not to compare Misbah with the captain of the 1992 World cup winning side, Imran Khan as there is no match between the two.
