It seems Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini will have no dearth of suitors after leaving his current club.

Manuel Pellegrini is said to be considering Newcastle as his next job if they stay up this season
Guardiola would be taking over the reigns at the Etihad and Pellegrini would be a free man at the start of next season. It has been reported that Russian champions Zenit Saint Petersburg have offered a two year contract to the Chilean for around £3 million per year.

Zenit has been performing well below expectations this season with the club in sixth in the Russian league and facing an exit in the Champions league after a 1-0 loss to Benfica in the round of 16 first leg in the Champions league.

However, Pellegrini wants to stay in the Premier league and is looking at Newcastle as a possible option. The Magpies are currently flirting with relegation and their manager Steve McClaren is under immense pressure for the same.

Although Newcastle are currently a bottom table team, they have a rich history consisting of the one of the most passionate fans in the world. However, if Newcastle do get relegated, Pellegrini would not be interested in the job since the Chilean wants to manage a Premier league club.
