It seems out of favor Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is very much tracked by the likes of West Ham and West Brom.
Benteke has certainly struggled for game time under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who feels that the tall Belgian striker is not suited to his style of play. Both West Ham and West Brom prefer forwards with good aerial presence, as already seen from the likes of Carroll and Rondon respectively.
The 25 year old was brought for around £32 million from Aston Villa last summer but has barely featured in the squad this season. Divock Origi, Daniel Sturridge and Firmino have all been preferred ahead of the Belgian for the lone striking role this season.
Benteke, however, has stated his desire to remain at the club and fight for his place. However, with Klopp looking to invest in the squad, the money which can be obtained from the sale of Benteke can be useful.
However, the huge transfer fees along with the huge wages of the forward can be a hindrance for the sale to go through. With Klopp's style of play more inclined towards hard pressing, it may be better for Benteke to look for greener pastures.
Tony Pulis or Slaven Bilic would certainly be pleased with having a tall Belgian striker with a good aerial threat in their ranks.
