It seems Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wants to finalize the next manager for his club by the month of March.

Chelsea owner Abramovich wants new manager by mid-March
Abramovich has looked at Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri and Antonio Conte as potential candidates for the Chelsea managerial job. It seems that the Chelsea management has held talks with Conte since Christmas and they have also been tracking the work done by Allegri with Juventus.

Apart from these two Italians, Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone and Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini have also been linked with the Chelsea hot seat. Pellegrini is set to leave City at the end of the season with Bayern Munich manager Guardiola set to take over the reigns of the Citizens next season.

With Mourinho being considered as the favorite to take over from LVG as the next United manager, it seems that Abramovich wants to finalize a similar situation with his club as soon as possible.

Chelsea have endured a terrible season by their standards this season and the requirement of a strong personality at the helms is very much important with respect to the club.

The appointment of the next manager would be quite crucial to Chelsea's fortunes given the club will most probably not qualify for next season's Champions League, unless they win it like they did in the year 2012.
