It seems that the problems of Bayern Munich have not ended with their defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions league a few days back.

Pep Guardiola accuses dressing room 'mole' of damaging Bayern Munich
It has been reported by a source from the dressing room that there were some arguments between the Spanish manager and his physios. Guardiola was not happy with the fact that he had to wait long for several of his key players to come back from injuries while Madrid was able to get back their main defender Diego Godin back to fitness in time.

Guardiola stated that the news about the dressing room spat should not have been spread to the media and it is currently the club's problem that they have a mole. The former Barcelona manager stated that he will not be at the club next season and so it is the club that has to handle with such an issue.

He added the fact that such an issue has been happening during his tenure of three years at the club and is affecting the club as a whole. Guardiola was also unhappy with the fact that the German media are looking at his Bayern managerial term as a failure due to the lack of a Champions league title.

Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has criticized Bayern manager Pep Guardiola with respect to his handling of Thomas Muller in the recent Champions league semi-final game against Atletico Madrid.

Ian Wright says Pep's departure has been handled terribly
Muller was inexplicably relegated to the bench for the semi-final, a move which shocked most of Pundits and the fans alike, Muller has scored 31 goals in this campaign and the fact that he was put on the bench for the most important game of the side perplexed Wright.

He also criticized the way the signing of Guardiola to City was handled. He stated that Guardiola took the risk of putting Muller on the bench knowing the fact that he would not be there at the club next season. Guardiola was also criticized for not playing German midfielder Gotze at all in the game.

The move backfired for the Spanish manager, whose team lost 1-0 at the Vicente Calderon. However, the former Barcelona manager has a good chance of putting this criticism to rest by winning against Madrid in the second leg at the Allianz Arena, where the Germans have an impeccable record.

It seems former Barcelona captain Carlos Puyol is very much supportive of Pep Guardiola taking over at City.

Puyol backs Guardiola to be a success with City
The Barcelona legend stated that he owes the current Bayern Munich manager a lot when Guardiola was the manager at Barcelona. Guardiola enjoyed remarkable success in his time at the Nou Camp winning around 14 trophies from 2008 to 2012.

The spell included the winning of the Champions league in 2009, when the club was regarded as one of the best teams in club football and in 2011. Puyol was the captain under Guardiola and was regarded as one of the best defenders in the world during that time.

The now retired footballer certainly remembers that four year period under Guardiola with fondness and stated that the club is behind him in his future endeavors with Manchester City, where he would join former Barcelona director Txiki Begiristain.

Puyol has stated everyone here wishes Guardiola all the best and has backed the Spanish manager to be a resounding success at the Etihad.

Pep Guardiola is reportedly interested in bringing his current Bayern players to his next club. There are reports suggesting that the former Barcelona boss wants his star Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to join him at Manchester City next season.

Man City want Neuer to join with Guardiola
The Bayern Munich manager feels the attributes that Neuer has is not very common among the other goalkeepers in the world and hence, is ready to break the bank for the 29 year old.

It seems the German goalkeeper wants a new contract with his present club. The amount demanded by the former Schalke goalkeeper is in the range of around £300,000 per week.

This would be an amount which can be easily granted by Manchester City. However, one of the major blocks for the move to happen is the presence of City goalkeeper Joe Hart, who has been a main stay for the club for the past several seasons.

The England goalkeeper has been in fine form for the Citizens lately and has been consistent for the club for a long time. It is also viewed that Bayern Munich would not be interested in selling their star goalkeeper to another major European club.

It seems Manchester City are already benefiting from the impending arrival of current Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola.

Bayern Munich star Douglas Costa keen to follow Guardiola to Manchester City
The former Barcelona boss has been already attracting the likes of Paul Pogba and Neymar but it seems that he has admirers from his current club as well. Bayern Munich's star midfielder Douglas Costa is quite willing to leave his current club in order to play for Guardiola.

The former Shakhtar Donetsk player joined the German club only last summer but has clearly loved playing under his present boss. The midfielder has been a revelation for Bayern Munich this season and has expressed his desire to move to the Premier league at the end of the season to play for Guardiola's City.

Guardiola has also asked the City management to make a move for the Brazilian midfielder in the summer and it has been reported that Costa would welcome any such move from the Citizens.

The winger, who is known for his trickery and pace, certainly has the capability to enthrall the Premier league. If a move for the Brazilian International does go through, it would be a great coup for Manchester City.

The fact that Yaya Toure and Guardiola do not get along too well is not a secret. Guardiola was the one who allowed Toure to leave Barcelona and join Manchester City since he never featured in his plans.

Yaya Toure's agent says the midfielder will leave Manchester City when Pep Guardiola arrives
It seems that Dimitri Seluk, Toure's agent, has questioned whether Guardiola has it in him to work in an environment when the situation is not favorable.

The reason the agent has made such a statement is because Guardiola made the choice of leaving Barcelona in 2012, after he failed to win the league losing out to Mourinho's Real Madrid. That was the only season in which Guardiola has not won the league in his six years of managerial career at the top level.

Seluk also added that he believes his player would leave the Etihad at the end of the season. Whether it is because of the arrival of his former manager or not is yet to be confirmed.

However, with the agent being so sure, it seems this would definitely be the last season of Toure as a Manchester City player.

Seluk also stated that Yaya has always been open to challenges referring to his move to City, who were just a new club with a new project in the year 2010. He also added the fact that Toure was instrumental in the appointment of Begiristain as Technical director and Soriano as Chief Executive from Barcelona.

It certainly seems with the recent statements of his agent that there is no love lost between the former Barcelona manager and player.

After months of intense speculation, Manchester City have finally confirmed that former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola would succeed Manuel Pellegrini as the next City manager.

Manchester City confirm Pep Guardiola to replace Manuel Pellegrini for the start of next season.
City released a statement stating that Guardiola would take over from Pellegrini from the 2016-17 campaign and the contract would be for a duration of three years. They have also stated that the reason they have released such a statement is in order to put to an end to the speculation regarding the future of the Bayern Munich manager.

Although it was very likely that Guardiola would come to the Premier league and mostly City after refusing to end his contract with Bayern Munich, there was a still that element of doubt pertinent to his new club. The presence of former Barcelona chiefs Soriano and Begiristain, who had apparently given Guardiola his chance as Barcelona manager, would have certainly played an important part in the former Spanish International choosing to come to City.

Current City manager Pellegrini has stated that he was informed about the developments regarding the appointment of Guardiola and was never kept in the dark.

The arrival of Guardiola would certainly bring a spark to the Premier league, having witnessed the unfortunate departure of Mourinho this season. More importantly, City would certainly be considered serious contenders on the European stage from next season having already established themselves as Premier league giants.

The fact that Guardiola is certain to ply his trade next season in the Premier league has almost been confirmed by the Bayern Munich manager himself.  As a result, he has recently apologized to the managers of the Premier league for revealing his intentions of managing in the Premier league.

Add captionPep Guardiola: "It was not my intention to offend anybody."
The former Barcelona manager had earlier declared that he would like to manage in England next season after the end of his contract with Munich.  As a result, he has been chased by the top Premier league clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City. The pressure on Pellegrini has increased even more after the Guardiola statement since City have been termed as outright favorites for his signature.

May be the Spaniard has now realized the effect of his intentions and thereby apologized in an interview in a recent training camp of Bayern Munich in Qatar. Guardiola has been criticized from various quarters with respect to the handling of this managerial incident.

However, this particular situation has not been anything new for him. In the 2012-13 season, when Jupp Heynckes was the Bayern manager, the Spaniard was already declared as the manager for the German heavyweights for the 2013-2014 season inexplicably midway through the campaign.

Jurgen Klopp named Pep Guardiola as the best manager. Jurgen Klopp faced Guardiola in competitive matches last year when Klopp was managing Dortmund while the latter was in charge of Bayern Munich.

Bayern have already named Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager for next season and speculations are rife around Guardiola’s future with Manchester City. City's Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are also scouting him.

Klopp commented about Guardiola saying that, "If this rumour is as well-tuned as all the other transfer rumours in England, then Pep will go somewhere else completely,"

"But if it really happens, then in comes perhaps the best coach in the world. That would make it that bit harder for all the other teams in the Premier League,” he said.

Jurgen Klopp called for consistency from his side, as the Merseyside lost two games and held one this month. After a decent start under Klopp, the club has hit a rough patch in their recent performances. However, they managed to thump table toppers Leicester City 1-0 on Saturday.

Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says he knows where Bayern Munich manager is moving after the end of this current season. Although he refused to divulge the name of Pep's future club, saying it was Pep's right to reveal the name.

Pep Guardiola and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge
Bayern Munich earlier confirmed that Pep Guardiola will leave at the end of this season. They have already made an agreement with former Real Madrid and Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti to take on the job in the next season.

"I think I know where he is going, but I want to leave the announcement to him or his new employer," The Bavarian chief stated.

Rummenigge said that he had spoken with Guardiola at the team Christmas party in Munich, where Pep expressed his desire move on at the end of the season.

"He came over to me two weeks ago at our Christmas party and told me that he was looking for a new challenge", in exact words of Rummenigge.

Pep Guardiola is being chased by a bunch of European giants including Manchester City, Manchester United and PSG being a few.
