Chelsea have struggled in this seasons's Premier league and it seems that the premier league champions are keen to bring an overhaul to their existing squad.
It seems Chelsea are interested in buying Barcelona midfielder Busquets in order to bolster their squad. The 27 year old has spoken of his desire in playing in the Premier league in the recent past. However, with Guardiola set to join Manchester City, the belief that the team would be Chelsea is slightly doubtful.
However, one of the Spanish newspapers have reported that Chelsea are preparing a bid for the Barcelona youth product. Busquets made his first appearance for the club in 2008 and has been a mainstay for the club ever since.
He has made around 360 appearances for the La Liga Champions and has been a key part of Luis Enrique's plans. In case Chelsea are interested in bringing him to Stamford Bridge, a huge offer would be needed to put to the table.
The presence of his former Barcelona colleagues Fabregas and Pedro may play an important role in his decision. However, the midfielder had recently stated regarding his desire to play for Manchester City's future manager Pep Guardiola and that may prove a possible obstacle for the Premier league champions in luring the three time Champions league winner to the club.
