Colombian hitman Radamel Falcao has been left out of the preliminary Columbia squad consisting of 40 players for the upcoming Copa America Centenario tournament.

Radamel Falcao has been omitted from the Colombia squad for next month's Copa America.
Monaco loanee Falcao has struggled for game time this season with his club Chelsea and has also not featured for his country since last October. The former Porto forward has struggled with injuries this season and has hardly been missed for both club and country.

Hence, Jose Pekerman has taken the decision to leave Columbia's joint top goal scorer out of the tournament. Carlos Bacca and Adrian Ramos have been expected to lead the line for Columbia in the absence of Falcao.

Falcao, once considered as one of the best strikers in the world, has been out of form for around the last two years, largely because of his struggles with injuries. Currently, due to his unimpressive performances, his club and country future look very bleak.

His parent club Monaco, who signed him for big money, are looking to off load the former Atletico forward in order to get rid of his extravagant wages.

The transfer window of the Chinese Super league still has some time to come to an end and hence, it wont be a surprise if players from major European clubs are continuously linked with the league.

Falcao is wanted in China which could see Remy stay at Chelsea.
The latest player on the radar of the Chinese is Colombian hitman Radamel Falcao. The player is currently on loan at Chelsea where he has been out of favor and is struggling to get any playing time. His parent club Monaco also refused to take the former Atletico forward earlier this season since he did not pass their medical test.

Chelsea are struggling to find any suitors for the Colombian International and it seems China may just come to their rescue. The Chinese Super league may buy the former Porto forward, since it is a state owned corporation and will then assign to it any of the clubs which are interested. The fact that Jiangsu Suning may be the club interested in taking the Monaco striker will not be a surprise.

Falcao is certainly struggling to get his career going after various injuries that have hindered his career. He will certainly be open to any move wherein he can kick start his stuttering career while also earning a pretty good amount of money.

Radamel Falcao scores an overhead-kick while training for Colombia and asked the cameraman if he got the goal camera.

Radamel Falcao
Falcao has struggled since he came to play in the Premier League. He joined the Red Devils on loan from AS Monaco in 2014. He managed to score just 4 goals last season playing for Manchester United. He has managed to score just 1 goal since joining Chelsea this season.

El Tigre is currently on duty for Colombia and he has proved that he has still got it by scoring an overhead-kick in training.

Immediately after scoring the goal, he turned towards the cameraman to confirm if he had recorded the goal.

WATCH THE GOAL HERE:

The loan deal of the Colombian reminds of the Tevez deal. He is an instant fan favorite. One cannot help but admit that they get a little buzz every time they see him warm up and it is always to applause.

Radamel Falcao
At the end of this season the fans certainly hope that United pay up on the deal and get El Tigre on a permanent but they cannot help thinking if things continue as they are with Falcao not getting much time he has no reason to stay. Tevez was also starved of time and when the time came for David Gill to pay his agent for his services the fee was haggled until eventually he moved to Man City (still bitter).

The day he signed, people imagined RVP would be the one in the stands looking miserable and Falcao being in electric form but it seems to be the other way round.

Fingers crossed LVG gives him some more minutes when he is fully fit and he will most certainly start scoring his movement in the box looks brilliant and his physique is built for the EPL. His track record speaks for itself he scores wherever he plays and with United he has the right stage to perform.

Fingers crossed!

Manchester United signings 2014

At the end of the David Moyes era, United fans were in shock and dismay. After being dumped out of the Capital-One Cup at home to Sunderland (losing on penalties), preceded by a 3rd round FA Cup defeat again at home against Swansea, followed by a footballing lesson in the Champions League Quarter-Final stage against Bayern Munich, and then to top it all off finishing 7th in the Barclays Premier League, it’s fair to say Man Utd fans were worried. However, with new manager Louis van Gaal splashing the cash in the summer transfer window, have these new signings allowed United fans to forget about last seasons atrocities?

Although it’s still very early days into the season, a judgement can still be made about how Manchester United have done so far. After signing Angel Di Maria, Ander Herrera, Daley Blind, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo and Radamel Falcao (on a season long loan) Manchester United sent out a message to the footballing world, saying that they wanted their crown back. The David Moyes era had really tarnished the United name, and the aftermath of this was shown when Swansea were victorious in a 1-2 win at Old Trafford on the opening day of the season. £149 million later, along with the promotion of youth players Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair, Man Utd sit pretty in 4th position.

Out of all the signings, Angel Di Maria seems to have made the biggest impact. You’d think that his £59.7 million price tag would be a burden on him, but it seems that he has been significantly empowered with his move to the 13 time Premier League champions. The greater majority would think that a move from Real Madrid to Manchester United would be a step down (especially after Madrid achieved La Decima) but for Di Maria, it seems to have only enhanced his development. At Madrid Di Maria was never considered “The Man” unlike Ronaldo, or Messi is for Barcelona. However, for the first time in his career Angel Di Maria is the superstar, the totem, the central figure of his team.

Di Maria has embraced his hefty price tag, and looks even more dangerous and empowering on the pitch than ever before. In the two matches that he’s played 90 minutes, he’s had more touches than any other player on the pitch. Three goals accompanied with three assists are statistical confirmation of a hugely impressive start as the new United number 7. As spectacular as his passing and vision may be, the greatest assets he brings to the Old Trafford faithful is his speed and direct running. David Moyes’ United were one-paced and boring, yet it may be said they were same during the last few seasons under Sir Alex Ferguson. All the great Manchester United sides have the common theme of speed and tempo, and Di Maria has started the restoration of that fundamental corner stone. He gives United a purpose and an urgency that has been missing ever since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, the last player that got United fans constantly out of their seats like Di Maria does.

Daley Blind is another player that mustn't go unmentioned. He is a player that the Manchester United midfield has been crying out for, for many a year. Blind can be defined as a continuity player for United, along with the responsibility of sniffing out danger and blocking all avenues that lead to his goal. He’s not a player that dives into tackles, or hacks players down, but rather one that leans more towards anticipation and interceptions. His brilliant football brain doesn't just allow him to read the game like a book, but also the vision to play a pass and execute it illustriously.

Herrera, Shaw and Rojo have all been impressive in recent matches (Shaw and Rojo especially against Everton) but Blind and Di Maria have been the stand out players, although doesn't get the recognition deserved. Am I saying that Manchester United are going to go on and win the League? No, but with a few more signings (especially in the centre-back and central midfield department) they can most certainly return to where they were back in 2013. Perhaps number 21 (United currently have 20 Premier League/Division 1 titles) isn't far from being obtained.

"I love Manchester"- Cristiano Ronaldo
According to Daily Mail, Real Madrid are considering selling Cristiano Ronaldo back to Man Utd in order to bring in Radamel Falcao.

Falcao joined United on a transfer deadline day loan deal after a move to the Champions League winners fell through.

It is known to everyone that Real Madrid are still interested in Falcao and would try to bring the Colombian to Bernabeu next summer.

Jorge Mendes is believed to be the key man who can make this happen if both Ronaldo and Falcao indicate a desire to switch. Mendes is their agent and can make both the deals possible in such case.

It is understood that Real Madrid are still keen in signing Falcao and fresh reports suggest they could sell Ronaldo to United if they back away from a permanent move for Falcao.

Ronaldo talked about United last week when he discussed his love for Manchester.

"I love Manchester," Ronaldo said. "Everyone knows that — I have said it many times".

"Manchester is in my heart. I left many good friends there, the supporters are amazing and I wish I can come back one day."

For a long time, Manchester United fans have been crying out for an overhaul in the transfer window. Although it never happened under Fergie, our wishes have been fulfilled in this window, with Louis van Gaal recruiting 6 new faces, 2 of which can be considered to be among the best players in the world. And although I am overjoyed by our transfer activity, the joy might not last because the high profile entries will most probably end up causing a couple of high profile departures. Do High Profile Entries Also Mean High Profile Exits?

United have bolstered their squad with world class players like Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao
United have bolstered their squad with world class players like Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao
With the amount of the attacking options we have right now, it wouldn't surprise me to see a couple of familiar faces leave. Due to the arrival of Radamel Falcao, we now have 3 world class strikers all fighting for a place in the starting line-up, meaning one will be left out on the bench.

Similarly, the number 10 role also has a couple of suitors at the moment. There have been theories saying that di Maria will take that role when Ander Herrera is back and available, whilst others have been saying Wayne Rooney will occupy that space.

No matter which way we look at it, the amount of attacking options we have is just ridiculous. In a sense, this is a good thing, because we now have the best attacking line-up in the league (on paper). The competition for places, however, could signal the ends of some Old Trafford careers, though.
