3. Gareth Bale – Real Madrid
Often hailed to be the fastest player to have graced the football field, the Wales player made news when he was bought by Madrid for a world record transfer fee. He played an integral role in helping his club win the UEFA Champions League and the 2013-14 Copa del Rey.
