Former Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will reject the chance to sign for German giants Bayern Munich, according to his Wolfsburg teammate Marcel Schafer.
De Bruyne was signed by Chelsea from Genk in January 2012 for around £6m and spent the 2012-13 season on loan in Germany with Werder Bremen.
The Belgian midfielder's chance at Chelsea finally came last season but he was publicly criticized by Mourinho for his performance in a League Cup match against Swindon and subsequently dropped to train with the under-21 squad.
German club Wolfsburg paid £18m for the playmaker in the summer and he has repaid them by helping them to second in the Bundesliga and the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
Bayern are reportedly considering a summer move for the 23-year-old but Schafer says his team-mate is wary of moving to another massive club so soon.
