Mario Balotelli took on his critics by posting a video on Instagram.
The striker joined Liverpool from AC Milan for £16 million last August but has managed to score just four goals in 20 appearances across all competitions.
Out of the 4, only 1 of those goals has come in the Premier League. The 24-year-old has struggled for game time in recent weeks following the return of first choice forward Daniel Sturridge from an injury lay off.
Balotelli's attitude is considered to be the reason behind his omission from Brendan Rodgers’ team, but in a video uploaded on Tuesday evening Balotelli appears to attack those who have questioned his performances at Anfield.
Facing the camera, Balotelli asked if people even know him or have they ever talked to him personally. He also asked them if they know what he has been through in his life and told them to shut up as they have just seen him play football on the pitch.
