4. Arturo Vidal
Vidal might sound like an unrealistic target to many due to his hefty wage demands, but it is a known fact that life at Juventus isn't as happy as it once was.
The Chile star was arguably the most impressive box-to-box midfielder in world football last season, offering a lot of energy, goals and assists in a wonderful midfield also containing Paul Pogba and Andrea Pirlo.
The current season has not quite gone as well but Vidal has found himself in and out of Massimo Allegri’s side. Argentine footballer Roberto Pereyra and Claudio Marchisio have often been preferred, and this has caused a negative effect on his form.
Despite lack of gametime, Vidal is undoubtedly a world-class midfielder when he is in full flow, and he would be a massive signing if Rodgers manages to bring him to Anfield. Michael Owen ludicrously suggested in December that signing the Chilean is not out of the question, unlike Paul Pogba.
