According to reports in Spain, Valencia have offered Alvaro Negredo to Arsenal and are asking for £24 million. The deal sounds too strange since the news comes just days after the La Liga club completed a transfer for him.
Negredo signed a loan deal with an obligatory purchase clause with Valencia in September 2014. The clause required the club to purchase his rights at the end of the campaign for an amount believed to be around €27 million.
Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the situation and are not willing to match the price but may barter for a better deal.
