English comedian Simon Brodkin disrupted the event by throwing money at Sepp Blatter before being whisked away by security at today’s FIFA press conference.
Simon Brodkin, who is best known for playing a character called Lee Nelson, said that the money was for North Korea, 2026.
Once the press conference started after a delay, Blatter confirmed that he will step down from FIFA after he hands over the FIFA Presidency to the winner of the FIFA Presidential Election on February 26, 2016.
