Stadio Artemio Franchi is a 47,282 all-seater stadium in Florence. It is the home stadium of Fiorentina.
It was initially named Giovanni Berta and it is one of the most beautiful architectural structures of the 20th century in Italy.
It was later renamed in honour of former FIGC president Artemio Franchi in 1991. The stadium has a 70m tower called the "Tower of Marathon" that bears the flagstaff.
The stadium has hosted several football events, most notably the world cups of 1934 and 1990.
