Darmian was a bit of an unknown when he arrived at Old Trafford. But he has continued his consistent performances which earned him a move to Manchester.
The right back area was one where United had a lot of troubles last season and Van Gaal often had to play Valencia there. The defensive stability that Darmian brings in has made United better on the whole.
