10/10 for Bayern

Bayern Munich thrashed Koln 4-0 to make it ten wins out of ten league games this season. This was also Bayern's 1000th win in the Bundesliga since the start of the competition.

Arjen Robben returns for Bayern Munich
It is surely an impressive feat to have mustered up a thousand wins within the 53rd edition of the competition.

After their midweek loss to Arsenal, Bayern were back to their steamrolling best as they put four past a struggling Koln side.

Arjen Robben returned from injury for this game and wasted no time in getting himself on the score sheet as he opened the scoring for the Bavarians.

Koln goalkeeper Timo Horn was tested a couple of times earlier by Robben, Lewandowski and Muller but he was eventually beaten when Robben scrapped home after a goalmouth scramble.

Vidal doubled the lead soon after when he drilled home a pull back from Kingsley Coman.

Kingsley Coman continued to impress and Bayern's third goal came when the winger was fouled by Mathias Lehmann. Douglas Costa whipped in the resulting free kick and Robert Lewandowski was there to guide it home. With that goal, Lewandowski now has 23 strikes in 18 appearances for club and country this season.

Lewandowski was pushed over in the 77th minute for a penalty, and Thomas Muller made no mistake after stepping up to take the spot kick.

Bayern are now 10 points clear of second placed Borussia Dortmund, although they have one game in hand.

Next week Bayern will face Eintracht Frankfurt, who are currently 12th on the table.
