Arsenal have reportedly been interested in signing the U17 starlet Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian won the golden boot in the FIFA U17 World Cup held this year and is wanted by many top European clubs, and Arsenal seem to be leading the race to sign the Nigerian.
Osimhen scored ten goals and helped the Nigerian squad win the U17 World Cup in 2015. Despite the stern interest from the North London club, Osimhen earlier admitted that he had talks with German team Wolfsburg, although no decisions were made.
However, the Nigerian lad hinted that a move to the Emirates Stadium was more probable.
"But I have not decided where to go yet because Arsenal are also showing strong interests and perhaps after my visit to the club, I will have a clear view of where I want to go." Victor Osimhen spoke.
This statement can be considered as his need for Arsenal to impress him with their goals and principles, if they want to sign him.
Apart from Arsenal, other clubs such as Wolfsburg, Chelsea and Barcelona are also keeping tabs on the youngster.
