Arsenal Legend Thierry Henry has spoken of Arsenal’s current squad as genuine title contenders, but believes an addition is required to better the prospect.
The club's all time leading top scorer has insisted on buying a defensive midfielder and believes a strong cover in that position is to be bought, with injury sidelining the in-form Francis Coquelin.
The Frenchman was part of the famous ‘Invincible' squad and believes the current set of players can emulate such form, but feels it necessary to buy a defensive midfielder in January. Henry praised the current midfielders Coquelin and Flamini before saying injuries are the biggest concerns for Wenger.
He said that that there is a need for replacement in midfield, with Arsenal already suffering serious injury crisis of several first team regulars.
Arsenal are currently second in the Premier League and will face Barcelona in the round of 16 clash. Arsenal have a cluster of players out with injury; Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere, only to mention a few.
