It was a shocking news for all the Arsenal fans when their ex-captain decided to join Chelsea from FC Barcelona. He became the first player ever in the history of Premier League to record at least one assist in six successive games; four under Chelsea and two under Arsenal during 2010-11 season.
The master passer is third on the list. He is currently enjoying a dip in form but on his day he can kill any defence with a pass. He was top on the assists charts last season when Chelsea won the title.
The Spanish footballer earns £156,000 a week and his current contract expires in 2019.
