The high flying Arsenal hit the wall on Boxing day, as Southampton ripped the gunners in a 4-0 rout at St. Mary's. Arsenal will host AFC Bournemouth tonight at the Emirates, with a point to prove. Things have looked rosy for Bournemouth lately as Eddie Howe's men are comfortable in 14th position.

Arsenal failed to take advantage to go top of the Premier League table on Boxing Day as they let Southampton rout them, thus ending a win streak of four games. Arsenal are currently two points adrift of Leicester City and fans were dissatisfied with the team's attitude.

However, Arsenal face two consecutive home matches, against Bournemouth and Newcastle, of which the gunners have high probability to come out as winners.

AFC Bournemouth had a rough start to the season, but they have put that behind since November and have fought bravely, pulling themselves out of the relegation zone. They have not lost in their last 6 Premier League matches, amassing 12 points from a possible 18.

The best of their games came against Chelsea and Manchester United, winning on both occasions. They will once again show the character to heap further misery on Arsenal, tonight.

Predicted Team Line-ups:

Arsenal: Petr Cech, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Bellerin, Monreal, Flamini, Ramsey, Ozil, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Giroud

AFC Bournemouth: Boruc, Cook, Francis, Smith, Daniels, Ritchie, Surman, Gosling, O'Kane, Murray, Stanislas
