It seems that Barcelona are interested in Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado. There are reports stating that his agent is in contact with the Catalans about a prospective move.
The Chelsea wide man who signed for the club last January for around £26 million from Fiorentina struggled for playing time under Jose Mourinho. He was later send on loan in the summer to Champions league finalists Juventus where he has been quite impressive. Ironically, former Barcelona midfielder Pedro was a replacement for the Colombian in the summer.
Barcelona has also been tracking their former midfielder Pedro but seem to be more interested in Cuadrado. They would certainly be boosted by the fact that Juventus are not sure, whether to make the loan deal of Cuadrado permanent. With the form of the Colombian quite good in this campaign, Chelsea will certainly demand for a substantial amount and Barcelona may be more financially capable of meeting the demand.
Cuadrado has certainly excelled in his loan spell with Juventus and has become an important part of Allegri's side. He failed to adapt to the physicality associated with the Premier league last season but has found it easier to adapt to familiar surroundings of the Serie A due to his stint with Fiorentina earlier in his career.
