We all remember Andrey Arshavin, don't we? The Russian midfielder was considered a world class talent when he joined the gunners in 2009 from Zenit for £15 million.
He was also nominated for the 2008 Ballon D'or. He enjoyed a decent spell at the Emirates scoring 31 times in 144 appearances. He wrote is name in premier league history books that year by scoring 4 away goals at Liverpool in a thrilling 4-4 encounter and is majorly remembered for this feat.
In 2012, he returned to Zenit for 2 years after which he joined Russian club Ruban Krasnodar in 2015 in a one year deal. This deal was dissolved by mutual consent on 1st February 2016.
Being club-less since then, Arshavin's career has now hit a new low as he is about to agree a deal with Kairat, a team from the Kazakhstan Premier League after he was pictured training with their first team.
He is a free agent after leaving Ruban and Kairat looks like his most likely destination. Once upon a time a cult hero at Arsenal, he will now be pushed down to the backwaters of Kazakhstan.
