Liverpool want Marc-Andre Ter Stegen

It seems Barcelona's German goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen is very much in demand and has been tracked by Premier league club Liverpool.

There have been reports suggesting that Liverpool have made a bid of around £19 million for the former Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper. Ter Stegen has normally been preferred by Luis Enrique for the cup games with Claudio Bravo being involved in La Liga.

Liverpool have been worried about the form of their current goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, who they signed from Sunderland. Mignolet has been hesitant at times this season and Jurgen Klopp believes the former Bundesliga goalkeeper Ter Stegen would be the ideal replacement.

The 23 year old was one of the best goalkeepers in the Bundesliga before making a move to the Nou Camp in 2014. The German has been preferred only for knock out competitions in Barcelona, a situation he would not have to face in Liverpool.

However, the former Gladbach goalkeeper may have to sacrifice the glamorous Champions league for the same in which he has been quite heavily involved with the Champions league winners.
