It seems Italian national team boss Antonio Conte is set to become the next Chelsea manager after reports revealing that personal terms have been agreed between the Italian and Chelsea.
It has been reported that the only thing remaining for the deal to be completed is the approval of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich. The former Juventus manager was one of the candidates shortlisted for the Chelsea job which included the likes of Diego Simeone, current Juventus manager Allegri and ex Chile boss Sampaoli.
However, it seems that Conte is set to join the Premier league champions after his tenure with the Italian national team. Conte would be leading the Azzuris into Euro 2016 after which is contract is due to expire.
It seems Conte has been learning English and is all geared up to come into the Premier league. The 46 year old made his name with Juventus and was instrumental in leading them back as one of Europe's heavyweights.
With Abramovich himself very keen to wrap up the managerial issue associated with his club, it seems only a matter of time that Conte would be confirmed as the one replacing interim manager Guus Hiddink.
