Liverpool keen to let go off Benteke

It seems Liverpool are very much interested in selling their second most expensive striker in Benteke. The £32 million man has not got going in his Anfield career and is currently struggling to get any game time.

Liverpool to loan out Christian Benteke and pay some of his wages
Liverpool are looking to offload the former Aston Villa striker and it seems that West Ham are very much keen to buy the striker. However, the Hammers are not too keen to match the £120,000 per week wages of the tall Belgian striker and would be interested in buying the striker only if Liverpool are ready to pay some of his wages.

It seems ironical to state that the last big money signing from Liverpool to West Ham was Andy Carroll, who is incidentally Liverpool's most expensive signing till date. The worst part of Benteke's non involvement with his current club is that his International career is also in jeopardy.

Belgium coach Marc Wilmots has stated that Benteke's place in the squad is under threat and the Belgian would have to be more involved in order to play for his country at the Euros.

The best case for Benteke would be a move away from Liverpool since the striker has been preferred behind the likes of Sturridge and Origi and the Belgian has failed to adapt to the style of play adopted by Klopp.
