Francis Jeffers made a name for himself while playing for Everton from 1997 to 2001.
His fantastic performances with the Toffees didn’t go unnoticed; Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger convinced the club to spend £8 million to sign the ‘fox in the box’, as Francis Jeffers was usually called.
The Scouser was really talented, but repeated injuries combined with his bad behavior in training ruined his career. Jeffers retired in 2014.
