7. Stathis Tavlaridis
Before joining the Gunners in 2002, Stathis Tavlaridis had played for Greek side Iraklis.
The young central defender managed just eight appearances for Arsenal; he was simply not cut for a high caliber Premier League team.
The chasm between the Greek Superleague and the Premier League is so vast that, no matter how hard Tavlaridis would try, it was virtually impossible for him to impress at Highbury. Arsenal offloaded him a year later.
