It seems Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has set his sights on Juventus striker Alvaro Morata and is willing to work with Real Madrid in order to strike a deal for the striker.
Real Madrid, apparently, have a buy back clause of around £23 million with respect to Morata and are keen to exercise the option this season. Morata has been very impressive for the Italian giants which also saw him scoring against his former club in the Champions league semi-final last season.
However, Arsenal, who have been criticized in the past for not having a real quality striker within their ranks are willing to pay around £30 million for the former Madrid striker.
Arsenal will be facing competition from the likes of Bayern Munich and Liverpool. However, the opportunity to play in the Champions league and to be the leading front man of the side could tempt Morata to sign for the Gunners.
Madrid are very much willing to cash in on their former striker and the deal appears very much possible. Arsenal have been struggling in their attacking department with Giroud, Welbeck and Walcott sharing the roles. The arrival of Morata would certainly strengthen their attack.
