Aubameyang too expensive for Liverpool

It seems Borussia Dortmund striker Emerick Aubameyang has been very much tracked by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool accept that £75m rated Aubameyang is out of their price range.
Klopp, who managed the Gabon International during his time at Dortmund, has been a huge fan of the forward. Klopp signed the forward from St. Etienne when he was the manager of the German club.

Aubameyang has been in exceptional form for the German club in this season and was on target for Dortmund in their recent Europa League quarterfinal he played against Liverpool.

However, Klopp believes the price for Aubameyang may be well beyond what Liverpool could afford and this may prove to be a major obstacle in the Reds signing the 26 year old. The price set by Dortmund for their star striker is in the range of £75 million, an amount which Klopp believes is extremely high.

However, the fact that the striker has scored close to 40 goals this season certainly gives Dortmund the upper hand with respect to the transfer fees and reinforces their intent of not letting Aubameyang go for cheap.
