Barkley refuses to extend Everton deal

The fact that Ross Barkley is one of the most exciting young talents is something everyone is aware of and the fact that young player is not ready to extend his deal is worrying for his current club.

It has been reported that the 22 year old English midfielder is not happy with the progress of the team this season under Martinez and wants to wait until after the Euros to decide his future. Barkley currently has two years left on his contract, a contract he signed in 2014. 

The England International has been tracked by various Premier league clubs including the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea. According to various reports, Barkley may opt for a move away from the club if Martinez keeps his job at the club.

He would be interested in staying with the club if it includes a change of manager. Martinez would be holding talks with the Everton management in the next few days which would decide his fate at the club.

Everton certainly have a good core of players coming through and the exit of Barkley would be a huge blow to the future plans of the club.
