Moyes wants Everton job

A few days earlier, David Moyes had sympathy for current Everton boss Martinez. However with back to back defeats to Liverpool and Manchester United, it seems that the Spanish manager's tenure at Goodison Park will come to an end sooner rather than later.

Now, it seems former manager David Moyes, who left the club to join Manchester United in 2013, is very much interested in coming back to Everton. Moyes managed the Toffees from 2002 to 2013 and enjoyed a successful spell at Goodison Park during that tenure.

However, in spite of that record, it seems that the Everton management is not too keen on bringing the Scot back again to the club. After unsuccessful tenures at Real Sociedad and Manchester United, Moyes wanted to come back on familiar territory but it seems his former club, with a new owner, wants to look at other options.

Although Martinez enjoyed a great first season with the club, he has failed to take the club forward in the last two seasons in spite of having a team filled with promising individual players.
