According to some reports, Nainggolan is set to be the first signing of Antonio Conte’s Chelsea reign.
The Premier league champions have endured a very difficult season in this campaign and it seems that Conte wants to strengthen the midfield department for next season.
The 27 year old has been a long term target for the Blues and it has been reported that the Belgian International has agreed a deal of around 5 years with the Premier League champions. Nainggolan has been highly regarded by Conte and has been tracked by various European clubs.
The Belgian International has been known for his combative nature in midfield and it seems the Pensioners have been successful in capturing his move. Roma Sporting director Walter Sabatini has stated that he has not heard of any information with respect to the signing of Nainggolan and has termed the Belgian midfielder as a Universal midfielder. However, there have been reports that been suggesting that Nainggolan to Chelsea is a done deal.
