It has been reported that Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has told his players that he will be there at the club next season.
After enjoying a sensational first season with the club by winning the treble, the Catalans have somewhat faltered towards the latter stages of this season. Barcelona's lead at the top was cut from nine points to just goal difference and they were ousted from the Champions league by la Liga rivals Atletico Madrid in the quarterfinals.
However, the club is still very much on course to win the Copa and La Liga. However, any slip up in the league could be fatal to their hopes of retaining the league with Atletico Madrid on equal points and Real Madrid just one point behind in the league table. Amidst this, apparently Luis Enrique has stated to his players and close friends about the fact that he would remain at the club next season.
The manager was concerned with the strength of the squad this season but has been happy with the way the team has performed. This would certainly be good news for the Barcelona fans and the players towards the later part of this season.
