Evra extends United stay by a year

Patrice Evra, the 33 year old French international, has signed an extension for one year with Manchester United.

After a lot of speculation of him leaving the club along with Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand, Evra decided to stay with the club for another year.

This means that there would be less chances of Van Gaal trying to sign English left back Luke Shaw, as they now have an experienced left back for another year.

Evra came to the club back in 2006 and made his debut against Manchester City. Evra has been quite consistent at the club but sometimes there have been fluctuations in his performances.

Let's wish Patrice good luck for another year at this great club and lets hope for many more years of his partnership with United.
