According to reports in Spain, Manchester City have joined other EPL teams to sign Barcelona defender Gerard Pique.
The Spanish defender is said to have fallen out of favour under Luis Enrique as he prefers to play both Javier Mascherano and Jeremy Mathieu in the centre.
This has lead several clubs believe that the Barcelona defender could return to EPL
United and Chelsea were said to be favourites to sign Pique but the ex Manchester United is now linked with Manchester City and the other EPL are clubs are said to face a tough competition for the player.
Although many EPL clubs are interested in signing the 27-years-old, but the player could choose to stay at Camp Nou. He stated that he is not thinking about leaving. He has been a Barcelona fan since he was a kid and wants to stay there.
It is understood that £24m should be enough to tempt the Catalonia club.
