DM – Francis Coquelin
Villa have some talented midfielders and they have displayed their ability on the counter attack especially under Tim Sherwood. The Coq will be required to do what he does best!
CM – Santi Cazorla
Cazorla has looked tired in recent games and some may suggest his influence in games has declined. However, Wenger sees him as an important component of his team and continued starting him, even when he could have rested him on the final day of the league season. Expect to see him alongside Coquelin.
RM/RF – Aaron Ramsey
The Aaron Ramsey experiment has not worked in every game that it has been implemented in but Wenger will place importance on possession in the Cup Final. Oxlade-Chamberlain has only just returned from injury and looked rusty in the few minutes he played on the final day of the league season.
Though Wilshere has given Wenger something to think about, Ramsey has more game time under his belt and likely to get the nod.
