It is a fact that Cristiano Ronaldo takes his rivalry with Leo Messi very seriously. He may try to deny the fact but it makes the fire burn inside of the Real Madrid man.
Fans of the opposite team know that they can get under Ronaldo’s skin by chanting his rival’s name at him. This is exactly what the Albania fans did during this week’s Euro 2016 qualifier.
Chants of ‘Messi!’ by the crowd were clearly audible from the stands during the warm-up. Ronaldo actually enjoyed the chants and asked the Albanians for more instead of feeling offended.
