3. Stadio San Paolo
Stadio San Paolo is the home of Napoli and has a capacity of 60,240 making it the third largest stadium in Italy. At the time of its building, the stadium had a capacity of 87,000 but further renovations cut down the capacity for the comfort of the fans.
The stadium has witnessed Diego Maradona lead Napoli to title wins twice and has showed its love to Diego on multiple occasions. One notable incident was when Napoli fans put this banner saying " Maradona, Naples loves you, but Italy is our homeland" for Italy's match against Argentina in the 1990 FIFA world cup.
The city of Naples had once voted for renaming the stadium in honour of Maradona but Italy's law prohibited naming a structure after someone while they are still alive.
